AJA Current Programs

We address the United Nation's Millennium Development Goals through our programs, and we offer long-term solutions to help people sustain safer, healthier, and more productive lives.

AJA IVP - International Volunteer Program utilizes the expertise of international volunteers to foster education, social development, health, human rights, capacity building and income generation for local communities.

AJA English for Global Citizenship program mission is to provide free English language classes for poor youth, adults, and tourism staff. English-speaking volunteers needed.

AJA produces and distributes Brazilian Sign Language - Libras instructional material such as book and DVD. AJA promotes the rights, the language and the culture of the Brazilian deaf communities.

AJA Job Bank for Disabled Persons in the Internet help disabled people to find work.

AJA along with ABRA promote and advocate for accessibility, universal design and digital access.
